[539] **Having understood the meaning (attha), having understood the Dhamma (dhamma):** the question itself is the Dhamma; the answer is the meaning. "Having understood the meaning" means: having understood the meaning — having known it, weighed it, scrutinized it, made it clear, and made it evident — thus, "having understood the meaning." "Having understood the Dhamma" means: having understood the Dhamma — having known it, weighed it, scrutinized it, made it clear, and made it evident — thus, "having understood the Dhamma."
