[630] **Faith, rapture, mind, and mindfulness.** *Faith (saddhā)*: whatever faith, trusting, confiding, and full confidence there is with reference to the Blessed One — faith, the faith faculty (saddhindriya), the power of faith (saddhābala). *Rapture (pīti)*: whatever rapture, gladness, rejoicing, exultation, joy, elation, satisfaction, and heightened serenity of mind (citta) there is with reference to the Blessed One. *Mind (mano)*: whatever mind (citta), intellect, mentality, heart, the lucid, mind, mind sense base (manāyatana), mind faculty (manindriya), consciousness (viññāṇa), aggregate of consciousness (viññāṇakkhandha), and the corresponding mind-consciousness element (tajjā manoviññāṇadhātu) there is with reference to the Blessed One. *Mindfulness (sati)*: whatever mindfulness, recollection … right mindfulness there is with reference to the Blessed One. Hence: "faith, rapture, mind, and mindfulness."
