[750] **"One who sees the unbeneficial, settled in what is uneven" (anatthadassiṃ visame niviṭṭhaṃ):** one who sees the unbeneficial (anatthadassī) is said of that companion who possesses wrong view (micchādiṭṭhi) with its ten grounds: "There is nothing given, nothing offered … who, having realized this world and the other world for themselves by direct knowledge (abhiññā), make them known." This one is called one who sees the unbeneficial.
**Settled in what is uneven:** settled in uneven bodily action, settled in uneven verbal action, settled in uneven mental action; settled in the uneven destruction of life, settled in the uneven taking of what is not given, settled in uneven sexual misconduct, settled in uneven false speech, settled in uneven divisive speech, settled in uneven harsh speech, settled in uneven frivolous talk, settled in uneven covetousness, settled in uneven ill will, settled in uneven wrong view; settled in uneven volitional formations (saṅkhārā); settled in, stuck upon, cleaving to, gone over to, attached to, and resolved upon the uneven five strands of sensual pleasure (kāmaguṇa). Hence: "one who sees the unbeneficial, settled in what is uneven."
