[755] **Having understood the goods, one should dispel doubt**: having understood one's own good (attattha), having understood the good of others (parattha), having understood the good of both (ubhayattha), having understood the good pertaining to the present life (diṭṭhadhammikattha), having understood the good pertaining to the life to come (samparāyikattha), having understood the highest good (paramattha); having understood, having directly known (abhiññā), having known, weighed, scrutinized, clarified, and made evident, one should dispel doubt, drive it out, abandon it, remove it, make an end of it, and bring it to non-existence — thus, "having understood the goods, one should dispel doubt. One should wander alone like the horn of a rhinoceros." Therefore that Paccekasambuddha said:
One should associate with a friend who is learned (bahussuta), a bearer of the Dhamma,
eminent, endowed with ready wit;
having understood the goods, having dispelled doubt,
one should wander alone like the horn of a rhinoceros.
