[271] "With keen faculties (tikkhindriya), with weak faculties (mudindriya)": a person with faith (saddhā) is one with keen faculties; a person without faith is one with weak faculties. A person with aroused energy is one with keen faculties; a lazy person is one with weak faculties. A person with mindfulness established is one with keen faculties; a person of muddled mindfulness is one with weak faculties. A person who is concentrated is one with keen faculties; a person who is unconcentrated is one with weak faculties. A person with wisdom is one with keen faculties; a person of poor wisdom is one with weak faculties.
