[274] "Some see fear in the world beyond and in wrong-doing; some do not see fear in the world beyond and in wrong-doing": a person with faith (saddhā) is one who sees fear in the world beyond and in wrong-doing; a person without faith is one who does not see fear in the world beyond and in wrong-doing. A person of aroused energy (āraddhavīriya) is one who sees fear in the world beyond and in wrong-doing; a lazy person is one who does not see fear in the world beyond and in wrong-doing. A person of established mindfulness (upaṭṭhitassati) is one who sees fear in the world beyond and in wrong-doing; a person of muddled mindfulness is one who does not see fear in the world beyond and in wrong-doing. A concentrated person is one who sees fear in the world beyond and in wrong-doing; an unconcentrated person is one who does not see fear in the world beyond and in wrong-doing. A wise person is one who sees fear in the world beyond and in wrong-doing; an unwise person is one who does not see fear in the world beyond and in wrong-doing.
