[296] The misapprehension through adherence (abhinivesaparāmāsa) — "Eye-consciousness (cakkhuviññāṇa): this is mine; ear-consciousness (sotaviññāṇa): this is mine; nose-consciousness (ghānaviññāṇa): this is mine; tongue-consciousness (jivhāviññāṇa): this is mine; body-consciousness (kāyaviññāṇa): this is mine; mind-consciousness (manoviññāṇa): this is mine; this I am; this is my self" — is a view (diṭṭhi).
