Ānāpānakathā

[368] The mind (citta) that runs after the past, that longs for the future, that is sluggish, that is over-exerted, that is over-knowing, that is unknowing — such a mind (citta) does not become concentrated. These six are the corruptions (upakkilesa) of concentration (samādhi) through mindfulness of breathing (ānāpānasati), corrupted by which in his intention, one does not understand the higher mind (adhicitta).
