[692] What is the success (iddhi) of one possessing merit?
A wheel-turning monarch (rājā cakkavatti) travels through the air together with his fourfold army, down to and including even the men who are horse-grooms and keepers (assabandhagopake purise). The success of the householder Jotiya (v.l. Jotika), one possessing merit; the success of the householder Jaṭila, one possessing merit; the success of the householder Meṇḍaka, one possessing merit; the success of the householder Ghosita, one possessing merit — the success, as ones possessing merit, of the five persons of great merit: this is the success of one possessing merit.
