[174] For the Blessed One Koṇḍañña,
the Protector of the World (lokanātha), the Steadfast One (tādī),
I had a staircase built
for ascending the palace.
Through that confidence of mind (cittappasāda),
having enjoyed attainments (sampadā),
I bear my final body
in the dispensation (sāsana) of the Fully Self-Enlightened One (sammāsambuddha).
In the thirty-one thousandth aeon (kappa)
there were three great kings,
Sambahula by name,
wheel-turning monarchs (cakkavattī) of great power.
The four analytic insights (paṭisambhidā),
and also these eight liberations (vimokkha),
and the six superknowledges (chaḷabhiññā) have been realized;
the Buddha's teaching has been fulfilled.
It was thus, indeed, that the Venerable Nisseṇīdāyaka Thera spoke these verses.
The Apadāna of Nisseṇīdāyaka Thera is concluded.
