[218] At the assattha tree, gleaming green, a tree full-grown,
mindful, I gained a single perception (saññā) directed to the Buddha.
In the thirty-first aeon from now — the perception I gained then:
through the influence of that perception I attained the destruction of the taints (āsava).
In the thirteenth aeon from now there was a khattiya named Vaniddha,
a wheel-turning monarch (cakkavatti) endowed with the seven treasures, of great might.
The four analytic insights (paṭisambhidā), and these eight liberations (vimokkha),
the six superknowledges (abhiññā) have been realized; the Buddha's teaching (sāsana) has been fulfilled.
It was thus indeed that the Venerable Sandhita the Elder spoke these verses.
The Apadāna of the Elder Sandhita is concluded.
