[315] "There is no footprint in the sky — in the firmament, the pathway of the winds — yet I saw the Victor (jina) Siddhattha going along the courtyard of heaven (tidivaṅgaṇa).¹
Having seen the robe of the Fully Self-Enlightened One (sammāsambuddha) stirred by the wind, delight arose in me at that very moment,² at seeing the going of the Sage (muni).³
It was in the ninety-fourth aeon (kappa) from now that I then gained that perception (saññā); I know of no bad destination (duggati): this is the fruit of the perception of the Buddha (buddhasaññā).
The four analytic insights (paṭisambhidā), and also these eight liberations (vimokkha), and the six superknowledges (chaḷabhiññā) have been realized; the Buddha's teaching (sāsana) has been fulfilled."
