"Vipassī, the Leader of the World, had come out from his daytime abiding;
having given him a light cloth of fine weave, I rejoiced in heaven for an aeon.
In the ninety-first aeon from now it was that I gave that fine cloth;
I know of no bad destination — this is the fruit of the fine cloth.
My defilements (kilesa) have been burned away; all existences have been extirpated;
like an elephant that has burst its bonds, I dwell free from taints (āsava).
Welcome indeed was my coming into the presence of the Best of Buddhas!
The three true knowledges (vijjā) have been attained; the Buddha's teaching has been fulfilled.
The four analytic insights (paṭisambhidā) and also these eight liberations (vimokkha),
the six superknowledges (chaḷabhiññā) have been realized; the Buddha's teaching has been fulfilled."
Thus indeed the Venerable Supaṭadāyaka Thera spoke these verses.
