[119] The Victor (jina) named Padumuttara, gone to the far shore of all dhammas,
having risen from concentration (samādhi), the Leader of the World walked in meditation.
Taking up my carrying-pole load, bringing fruit at that time,
I saw the stainless Buddha, the Great Sage, as he walked in meditation.
With a mind of confidence, glad at heart, raising my joined palms to my head,
I paid homage to the Fully Awakened One and gave an āmaṇḍa fruit.
For the fruit that I gave then, a hundred thousand aeons from this one,
I know of no bad destination (duggati) — this is the fruit of the āmaṇḍa.
My defilements (kilesa) have been burned away; all existences (bhava) have been eradicated;
like an elephant that has burst its bonds, I dwell free from taints (āsava).
Welcome indeed was my coming into the presence of my Buddha;
the three true knowledges (vijjā) have been attained; the Buddha's teaching has been carried out.
The four analytic insights (paṭisambhidā), and also these eight liberations (vimokkha),
the six superknowledges (abhiññā) have been realized; the Buddha's teaching has been carried out.
Thus indeed did the Venerable Elder Āmaṇḍaphaladāyaka speak these verses.
The Apadāna of the Elder Āmaṇḍaphaladāyaka is concluded.
