[76] When the Protector of the World, Siddhattha, the Leader of the World, had attained final Nibbāna,
I gathered my relatives together and performed worship of the relics (dhātupūjā).
In the ninety-fourth eon (kappa) from now, since I worshipped that relic,
I know of no bad destination (duggati): this is the fruit of worshipping the relic.
My defilements (kilesa) have been burned away; all existences (bhava) have been eradicated;
like an elephant that has broken its bonds, I dwell without taints (āsava).
Welcome indeed was my coming into the presence of my Buddha;
the three true knowledges (tisso vijjā) have been attained; the Buddha's teaching (sāsana) has been fulfilled.
The four analytic insights (paṭisambhidā), and also these eight liberations (vimokkha),
and the six superknowledges (chaḷabhiññā) have been realized; the Buddha's teaching has been fulfilled.
Thus indeed the Venerable Dhātupūjaka Thera spoke these verses.
The Apadāna of Dhātupūjaka Thera is concluded.
