[81] I saw the stainless Buddha, Vipassī, the Leader of the World,
shining like a kaṇikāra tree, seated in a mountain cleft.
Holding up three kiṅkaṇi flowers, I offered them;
and having worshipped the Fully Awakened One, I departed facing south.
By that well-done deed (kamma) and by my volitional aspirations (cetanā-paṇidhi),
having abandoned the human body, I went to Tāvatiṃsa.
In the ninety-first aeon (kappa) from now, since I worshipped the Buddha,
I know of no bad destination (duggati): this is the fruit of worshipping the Buddha.
My defilements (kilesa) have been burned away; all existences (bhava) have been uprooted;
like an elephant that has burst its bonds, I dwell free from taints (āsava).
Welcome indeed was my coming into the presence of my Buddha;
the three true knowledges (vijjā) have been attained; the Buddha's teaching (sāsana) has been fulfilled.
The four analytic insights (paṭisambhidā), and these eight liberations (vimokkha) as well,
and the six superknowledges (chaḷabhiññā) have been realized; the Buddha's teaching has been fulfilled.
Thus indeed did the Venerable Tīṇikiṅkaṇipupphiya Thera speak these verses.
