[235] What, on that occasion, is non-ill will (abyāpāda)? That which, on that occasion, is non-hatred (adosa), absence of hating (adūsanā), the state of not being hateful (adūsitattaṃ), non-ill will, non-malevolence (abyāpajja), non-hatred as a wholesome root (kusalamūla) — this, on that occasion, is non-ill will.
