[27] What, on that occasion, is the faith faculty (saddhindriya)? The faith (saddhā) that there is on that occasion — the trusting (saddahanā), the settled conviction (okappanā), the full confidence (abhippasāda); faith, the faith faculty, the power of faith (saddhābala) — this is the faith faculty that there is on that occasion.
