[55] What, on that occasion, is tranquility of the body (kāyappassaddhi)? That which on that occasion is the tranquility, the quiescence, the calming, the subsiding, the state of having subsided of the aggregate of feeling (vedanākkhandha), of the aggregate of perception (saññākkhandha), and of the aggregate of volitional formations (saṅkhārakkhandha) — this, on that occasion, is tranquility of the body.
