[583] Which is that form (rūpa) that is growth of form (rūpassa upacayo)? That which is the accumulation (ācaya) of the sense bases (āyatana) — that is the growth of form. This is that form that is growth of form. Which is that form that is not growth of form? The eye base (cakkhāyatana) … edible nutriment (kabaḷiṅkāra āhāra). This is that form that is not growth of form.
