[1086] Therein, which are the seven minds (cittāni)? Eye-consciousness (cakkhuviññāṇa), ear-consciousness (sotaviññāṇa), nose-consciousness (ghānaviññāṇa), tongue-consciousness (jivhāviññāṇa), body-consciousness (kāyaviññāṇa), the mind element (manodhātu), the mind-consciousness element (manoviññāṇadhātu) — these are called the seven minds. __________
