[1114] Of the five aggregates (khandha), how many are results (vipāka), how many are phenomena productive of results (vipākadhammadhammā), how many are phenomena that are neither results nor productive of results (nevavipākanavipākadhammadhammā)? … Of the seven minds (citta), how many are results, how many are phenomena productive of results, how many are phenomena that are neither results nor productive of results? The form aggregate is a phenomenon that is neither a result nor productive of results; four aggregates may be results, may be phenomena productive of results, may be phenomena that are neither results nor productive of results. Ten sense bases (āyatana) are phenomena that are neither results nor productive of results; two sense bases may be results, may be phenomena productive of results, may be phenomena that are neither results nor productive of results. Ten elements (dhātu) are phenomena that are neither results nor productive of results; five elements are results; the mind element (manodhātu) may be a result, may be a phenomenon that is neither a result nor productive of results; two elements may be results, may be phenomena productive of results, may be phenomena that are neither results nor productive of results. Two truths (sacca) are phenomena productive of results; the truth of cessation (nirodhasacca) is a phenomenon that is neither a result nor productive of results; the truth of suffering (dukkhasacca) may be a result, may be a phenomenon productive of results, may be a phenomenon that is neither a result nor productive of results. Seven faculties (indriya) are phenomena that are neither results nor productive of results; three faculties are results; two faculties are phenomena productive of results; the perfect-knowledge faculty (aññindriya) may be a result, may be a phenomenon productive of results; nine faculties may be results, may be phenomena productive of results, may be phenomena that are neither results nor productive of results. Six roots (hetu) are phenomena productive of results; the three indeterminate roots (abyākata-hetu) may be results, may be phenomena that are neither results nor productive of results. Edible nutriment (kabaḷiṅkāra āhāra) is a phenomenon that is neither a result nor productive of results; three nutriments may be results, may be phenomena productive of results, may be phenomena that are neither results nor productive of results. Five contacts (phassa) are results; mind-element contact (manodhātu-samphassa) may be a result, may be a phenomenon that is neither a result nor productive of results; mind-consciousness-element contact (manoviññāṇadhātu-samphassa) may be a result, may be a phenomenon productive of results, may be a phenomenon that is neither a result nor productive of results.
