[162] Therein, what is the noble truth (ariyasacca) of the way of practice leading to the cessation of suffering (dukkhanirodhagāminī paṭipadā)? It is just this Noble Eightfold Path (ariyo aṭṭhaṅgiko maggo), namely: right view (sammādiṭṭhi), right thought (sammāsaṅkappa), right speech (sammāvācā), right action (sammākammanta), right livelihood (sammā-ājīva), right effort (sammāvāyāma), right mindfulness (sammāsati), right concentration (sammāsamādhi).
