[657] "Attaining" (upasampajja): that which is the gain (lābha), the obtaining (paṭilābha), the reaching (patti), the full reaching (sampatti), the contacting (phusanā), the realization (sacchikiriyā), the attainment (upasampadā) of the first jhāna.
