[670] "Equanimous" (upekkhako): Herein, what is equanimity (upekkhā)? That which is equanimity, the being equanimous, the looking on with equanimity, the neutrality of mind (citta) — this is called equanimity. With this equanimity he is endowed … possessed. Therefore he is called "equanimous."
