[848] Therein, what is the Tathāgata's knowledge (ñāṇa) of the destruction of the taints (āsava) as it really is (yathābhūta)?
Here the Tathāgata, with the destruction of the taints, in this very life enters upon and dwells in the taintless liberation of mind (cetovimutti) and liberation by wisdom (paññāvimutti), having realized them for himself with direct knowledge (abhiññā). That which therein is wisdom (paññā), the act of understanding, … non-delusion (amoha), investigation of dhammas (dhammavicaya), right view (sammādiṭṭhi) — this is the Tathāgata's knowledge of the destruction of the taints as it really is.
