[850] Anger (kodha) and grudge (upanāha); detraction (makkha) and rivalry (palāsa); envy (issā) and avarice (macchariya); deceit (māyā) and hypocrisy (sātheyya); ignorance (avijjā) and craving for existence (bhavataṇhā); the view of existence (bhavadiṭṭhi) and the view of non-existence (vibhavadiṭṭhi); the eternalist view (sassatadiṭṭhi) and the annihilationist view (ucchedadiṭṭhi); the view of finitude (antavādiṭṭhi) and the view of infinitude (anantavādiṭṭhi); the view concerning the past (pubbantānudiṭṭhi) and the view concerning the future (aparantānudiṭṭhi); shamelessness (ahirika) and lack of moral dread (anottappa); being difficult to admonish (dovacassatā) and having evil friends (pāpamittatā); dishonesty (anājjava) and lack of gentleness (amaddava); impatience (akkhanti) and lack of meekness (asoracca); lack of courteous speech (asākhalya) and lack of hospitality (appaṭisanthāra); being unguarded as to the doors of the sense faculties (indriyesu aguttadvāratā) and lack of moderation in eating (bhojane amattaññutā); lapsed mindfulness (muṭṭhasacca) and lack of clear comprehension (asampajañña); failure in morality (sīlavipatti) and failure in view (diṭṭhivipatti); the internal fetter (ajjhattaṃ saññojanaṃ) and the external fetter (bahiddhā saññojanaṃ).
