[876] Therein, what is drowsiness after meals (bhattasammada)? That which, in one who has eaten, is torpor due to food (bhattamucchā), fatigue due to food (bhattakilamatha), feverish burning due to food (bhattapariḷāha), bodily sluggishness (kāyaduṭṭhulla) — this is called drowsiness after meals.
