[914] Therein, what is eternalism (sassatadiṭṭhi)? "The self (attā) and the world are eternal": whatever view of such a kind, resort to views, … perverted grasp — this is called eternalism. Therein, what is annihilationism (ucchedadiṭṭhi)? "The self and the world will be annihilated": whatever view of such a kind, resort to views, … perverted grasp — this is called annihilationism.
