[979] Therein, which are the five ties (saṅga)? The tie of lust (rāgasaṅga), the tie of hatred (dosasaṅga), the tie of delusion (mohasaṅga), the tie of conceit (mānasaṅga), and the tie of views (diṭṭhisaṅga). These are the five ties.
