[991] Therein, which are the six roots of dispute (vivādamūla)? Anger (kodha), detraction (makkha), envy (issā), hypocrisy (sātheyya), evil desire (pāpicchatā), adherence to one's own views (sandiṭṭhiparāmāsitā) — these are the six roots of dispute.
