[338] The phenomena (dhammā) that are associated with the phenomena that are roots (hetu); the phenomena that are associated with the phenomena that are both roots and accompanied by roots (sahetuka); the phenomena that are associated with the phenomena that are both roots and associated with roots (hetusampayutta) — the phenomena that are associated with those phenomena are associated with three aggregates (khandha), one sense base (āyatana), and one element (dhātu); and they are associated with some [phenomena] of one aggregate, one sense base, and one element.
