[385] The phenomena (dhammā) that are dissociated (vippayutta) from phenomena that are roots (hetu); the phenomena that are dissociated from phenomena accompanied by roots (sahetuka); the phenomena that are dissociated from phenomena associated with roots (hetusampayutta); the phenomena that are dissociated from phenomena that are both roots and accompanied by roots; the phenomena that are dissociated from phenomena that are accompanied by roots but are not roots; the phenomena that are dissociated from phenomena that are both roots and associated with roots; the phenomena that are dissociated from phenomena that are associated with roots but are not roots; the phenomena that are dissociated from phenomena that are not roots but are accompanied by roots — the phenomena that are dissociated from those phenomena: those phenomena are dissociated from one aggregate (khandha), ten sense bases (āyatana), and sixteen elements (dhātu); they are dissociated from some [phenomena] of one sense base and one element.
