[397] Whichever phenomena (dhammā) [are dissociated] from phenomena to be abandoned by seeing (dassanena pahātabbā), whichever phenomena [are dissociated] from phenomena to be abandoned by development (bhāvanāya pahātabbā), whichever phenomena [are dissociated] from phenomena whose roots are to be abandoned by seeing (dassanena pahātabbahetukā), whichever phenomena are dissociated from phenomena whose roots are to be abandoned by development (bhāvanāya pahātabbahetukā) — whichever phenomena are dissociated from those phenomena, those phenomena are dissociated from one aggregate (khandha), from ten sense bases (āyatana), and from sixteen elements (dhātu); they are dissociated from some [phenomena] of one sense base and one element.
