[1006] [S.] Is the person (puggala) practising for the realization (sacchikiriyā) of the fruition of non-returning (anāgāmiphala) endowed with the fruition of stream-entry (sotāpattiphala)?
[P.] Yes.
[S.] Has not the person practising for the realization of the fruition of non-returning passed beyond the fruition of stream-entry?
[P.] Yes.
[S.] If the person practising for the realization of the fruition of non-returning has passed beyond the fruition of stream-entry, then indeed it should not be said: "The person practising for the realization of the fruition of non-returning is endowed with the fruition of stream-entry."
