[1017] [Sakavādin:] The fruition of stream-entry (sotāpatti-phala) has been obtained by the person practicing for the realization (sacchikiriyā) of the fruition of once-returning (sakadāgāmi-phala), and he has not fallen away from it — is, then, the person practicing for the realization of the fruition of once-returning endowed (samannāgata) with the fruition of stream-entry? [Paravādin:] Yes. [Sakavādin:] The two paths (magga) have been obtained by the person practicing for the realization of the fruition of once-returning, and he has not fallen away from them — is, then, the person practicing for the realization of the fruition of once-returning endowed with the two paths?
