[1136] [Sakavādin:] A mental factor (cetasika dhamma) does not exist?
[Paravādin:] Yes.
[S.:] Are there not some phenomena (dhammā) that accompany the mind (citta), that are co-arisen with it, mingled with it, associated with it, having one arising, one cessation, one basis, and one object?
[P.:] Yes.
[S.:] If there are some phenomena that accompany the mind, that are co-arisen with it, mingled with it, associated with it, having one arising, one cessation, one basis, and one object, then indeed you should not say, "A mental factor does not exist."
