[1138] [Sakavādin:] "There is no mental factor (cetasika dhamma)?"
[Paravādin:] "Yes."
[Sakavādin:] "But was it not said by the Blessed One: 'Here, Kevaṭṭa, a bhikkhu declares the mind (citta) of other beings, of other persons; he declares also their mental factor; he declares also what is thought (vitakkita); he declares also what is pondered (vicārita): "Thus is your mind (mano), such is your mind (mano), so too is your mind (citta)"'? Does such a discourse (suttanta) indeed exist?"
[Paravādin:] "Yes."
[Sakavādin:] "Then indeed there is a mental factor."
