[1196] [Sakavādin (S.):] Are there six destinations (gati)? [Paravādin (P.):] Yes. [S.:] Were not the assembly of Vepacitti (Vepacittiparisā) formerly devas? [P.:] Yes. [S.:] If the assembly of Vepacitti were formerly devas, then indeed, good sir, it should not be said that there are six destinations.
