[1254] S. Is verbal action (vacīkamma) originated by a wholesome mind (citta) form (rūpa), and is it wholesome? P. Yes. S. Is it with an object (sārammaṇa)? Is there adverting (āvajjanā) of it … aspiration (paṇidhi)? P. It should not be said thus. … S. Is it not without an object (anārammaṇa), with no adverting of it … aspiration? P. Yes. S. If it is without an object, with no adverting of it … aspiration, then indeed you should not say: "Verbal action originated by a wholesome mind is form and is wholesome."
