[1423] [Paravādin:] Is it not to be said that virtue (sīla) does not follow along with the mind (citta)? [Sakavādin:] Yes. [Paravādin:] When virtue, having arisen, has ceased, is one immoral? [Sakavādin:] It should not be said so. … [Paravādin:] Then, surely, virtue does not follow along with the mind.
