[1494] S. Is the seven-times-at-most person (sattakkhattuparama) fixed (niyata) in the state of [being reborn] seven times at most (sattakkhattuparamatā)? P. Yes. S. Is there that fixed order (niyama) by which fixed order the seven-times-at-most person is fixed in the state of [being reborn] seven times at most? P. It should not be said thus. … S. Are there those establishments of mindfulness (satipaṭṭhāna), right exertions (sammappadhāna), bases for success (iddhipāda), faculties (indriya), powers (bala), and factors of awakening (bojjhaṅga), by which factors of awakening the seven-times-at-most person is fixed in the state of [being reborn] seven times at most? P. It should not be said thus. …
