[1504] S. Is not a person accomplished in view (diṭṭhisampanna) respectful toward the Teacher (satthā)? P. Yes. S. If a person accomplished in view is respectful toward the Teacher, then indeed, good sir, it should not be said that a person accomplished in view could intentionally deprive a living being of life (sañcicca pāṇaṃ jīvitā voropeyya). S. Is not a person accomplished in view respectful toward the Dhamma … toward the Saṅgha … toward the training (sikkhā)? P. Yes. S. If a person accomplished in view is respectful toward the training, then indeed, good sir, it should not be said that a person accomplished in view could intentionally deprive a living being of life.
