[1589] Sakavādin: Is a view (diṭṭhigata) indeterminate (abyākata)? Paravādin: Yes. Sakavādin: But has it not been said by the Blessed One that faults (vajja) have wrong view (micchādiṭṭhi) as their utmost? Paravādin: Yes. Sakavādin: If it has been said by the Blessed One that faults have wrong view as their utmost, then indeed, good sir, it should not be said, "A view is indeterminate."
