[1600] Sakavādin: Is not the predominance of mind (cittādhipati) predominant (adhipati) over connascent phenomena (sahajātā dhammā)? Paravādin: Yes. Sakavādin: If the predominance of mind is predominant over connascent phenomena, then indeed, sir, you must say: it is a condition by way of predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya) (and) a condition by way of connascence condition (sahajāta-paccaya).
