[1629] [Sakavādin:] "One endowed with eye-consciousness (cakkhuviññāṇa) would not die?"
[Paravādin:] "Yes."
[Sakavādin:] "Is there that fixed order (niyāma) by which, being so fixed (niyata), one endowed with eye-consciousness would not die?"
[Paravādin:] "There is not."
[Sakavādin:] "If there is not that fixed order by which, being so fixed, one endowed with eye-consciousness would not die, then indeed it should not be said: 'One endowed with eye-consciousness would not die.'"
