[Paravādin:] "But was it not said by the Blessed One: 'All conditioned things (saṅkhārā) are impermanent' ¹ — when one sees with wisdom (paññā), then one becomes disenchanted with suffering (dukkha): this is the path to purity (visuddhi). 'All conditioned things are suffering' — when one sees with wisdom, then one becomes disenchanted with suffering: this is the path to purity. [Footnote ¹ (Siam Raṭṭha): In the Burmese edition the word "iti" does not occur.] 'All phenomena (dhammā) are not-self' — when one sees with wisdom, then one becomes disenchanted with suffering: this is the path to purity.' ¹ Is there indeed such a discourse (suttanta)?" [Sakavādin:] "Yes." [Paravādin:] "Then, in that case, one attends comprehensively." The Discussion of Comprehensive Attention (Adhiggayhamanasikārakathā) [is concluded]. ____________________ The Discussion "Form Is a Root-Cause (hetu)" (Rūpaṃhetūtikathā)
