[Sakavādin:] Could an ordinary person enter upon the first jhāna (paṭhamaṃ jhānaṃ)?
[Paravādin:] Yes.
[Sakavādin:] If an ordinary person could enter upon the first jhāna, then indeed, good sir, you should not say: "There is no knowledge for an ordinary person."
