[1863] "Does the Arahant (arahā) attain final Nibbāna (parinibbāyati) established in imperturbability (āneñja)?" "Yes." "Does the Arahant attain final Nibbāna established in a functional-indeterminate (kiriyābyākata) mind (citta)?" "It should not be said thus." … "But is it not that the Arahant attains final Nibbāna established in a resultant-indeterminate (vipākābyākata) mind?" "Yes." "If the Arahant attains final Nibbāna established in a resultant-indeterminate mind, then indeed it should not be said: 'The Arahant attains final Nibbāna established in imperturbability.'"
