[215] [Sakavādin:] The Arahant has seen suffering (dukkha); does the Arahant fall away from Arahantship? [Paravādin:] Yes. [Sakavādin:] The Non-returner (anāgāmī) has seen suffering; does the Non-returner fall away from the fruition of non-returning (anāgāmi-phala)? [Paravādin:] It should not be said thus. … [Sakavādin:] The Arahant has seen the origin (samudaya) … has seen cessation (nirodha) … has seen the path (magga) … has seen the four truths; does the Arahant fall away from Arahantship?
